The services I offer include:
FULL MANUSCRIPT CONSULTATIONS
This is feedback on a whole book-to-be. I mark up the manuscript using Track Changes and write you a letter about higher-order concerns. I don’t do copy edits (punctuation, sentence structure, grammar, spelling). I can promise a one-month turnaround. The package includes one back-and-forth email so you can ask me a whole bunch of questions once you've gone through my notes.
SHORT ESSAY AND STORY CONSULTATIONS
This is feedback on a shorter piece, under 20 pages. I mark up the manuscript using Track Changes and also write you notes. I don’t do copy edits (punctuation, sentence structure, grammar, spelling). I can promise a two-week turnaround.
PITCH/LETTER DOCTORING
This is feedback on a one-page piece of writing, e.g. a cover letter, magazine pitch, or artist statement. I mark up the manuscript using Track Changes. I can promise a one-week turnaround. (Note that I don’t work on book pitches, only story pitches.)
LINE EDITS
I will line edit your manuscript. (In some cases, this amounts to full reworking of sentences.)
COLLEGE-APPLICATION ESSAY CONSULTATIONS
