One winter when I lived in New York, my friend Suzie and I kept laughing because we didn’t own gloves. There was no reason why we couldn’t get gloves. We just kept on not buying them. For months, our hands went numb every time we stepped outside. I can’t remember why we thought that was funny.

Suzie on my couch one snowy afternoon. She gives the best astrology readings, by the way.
