Hello, Dear Readers!

A few weeks ago, I sent out a newsletter about the threat of the border wall in Far West Texas. If you want to hear me rant about it more, I was a guest on my old friend Greg Olear’s podcast yesterday. By “old,” I mean that we’ve known each other for nearly 20 years. Age-wise, we’re both so young, it would make you sick.

All I have to offer this month is the podcast episode! I spent half of May in Ireland, working for WritingWorkshops.com, and I’m neck-deep in another story about the wall, not to mention my grad students’ theses, so I didn’t have time to put an essay together. I promise to send you a good one in June.
